Data Storage

All business card data you scan and save is stored:

• Locally on your device - Data is saved to your device's local storage
• In your private iCloud account - If you enable iCloud sync, data is stored in your personal iCloud container that only you can access

We do not operate any servers that store your data. Your information never leaves your control.

Data We Do NOT Collect

CardScan Pro AI does not collect:

• Personal information from scanned business cards
• Contact details (names, emails, phone numbers)
• Business card images
• Usage analytics or tracking data
• Device identifiers for advertising
• Location data

Camera and Photo Library Access

The app requests camera access to scan business cards and photo library access to import card images. These permissions are used solely for the scanning functionality and images are processed entirely on your device. No images are transmitted to external servers.

iCloud Sync

When you enable iCloud sync:

• Your data is stored in your private iCloud container
• Data is end-to-end encrypted by Apple
• Only devices signed in with your Apple ID can access this data
• We cannot access your iCloud data

Subscription Information

If you purchase a Pro subscription:

• Payment is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store
• We do not receive or store your payment information
• We only receive confirmation of subscription status from Apple

Third-Party Services

CardScan Pro AI does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external service used is Apple's CloudKit for iCloud sync, which is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Data Deletion

You have full control over your data:

• Delete individual cards within the app at any time
• Uninstalling the app removes all local data
• iCloud data can be removed via Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Manage Storage

Children's Privacy

CardScan Pro AI is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
